Short version

We collect as little data as possible. Calculations on this site run in your browser, and the values you enter aren't transmitted anywhere. We don't use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts. If that changes, this page will be updated and the date above will reflect it.

Calculator inputs

Calculations on this site are designed to run client-side in your browser. The values you enter (such as age, weight, and height) are processed on your device, and we do not request, log, or store these inputs on our servers.

As with any website, no system on the public internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If we ever change this design — for example, by introducing a feature that requires sending input data to a server — this page will be updated.

Analytics

We don't currently run any analytics on this site — no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Mixpanel, no tracking scripts of any kind. If we add analytics later, we'll document what is collected here and update the "Last updated" date above.

Cookies and browser storage

We don't set any cookies from our own code. The TDEE Tracker tool uses your browser's LocalStorage to save your daily calorie and weight log between visits — that data stays on your device and isn't sent anywhere. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings, or with the Tracker's "Clear all data" button.

Hosting and infrastructure

This site is served via standard web infrastructure. Hosting, content-delivery, and security providers necessarily process standard request metadata — such as IP address, request timing, and user agent — in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Please refer to the relevant provider's privacy policy for details on their handling of that data.

Third parties and advertising

We don't run advertising and we don't load third-party tracking scripts. Fonts and assets are self-hosted — no third-party CDNs at runtime. Citation links on calculator pages (to PubMed, WHO, FAO, etc.) take you to external sites that have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights under data-protection laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA (California) — including, for example, the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to opt out of certain uses. Because we collect minimal personal data, there is often little to act on, but if you have a question or specific request, please contact us at the email below and we'll do our best to assist.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

This policy may change as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. We recommend checking back occasionally.
